FAQ
- Why are Channel & Frequency not shown?
Since Android 6, location permission is required to scan for nearby WiFi networks. This is the only method to obtain the current channel and frequency. (See Google Issue Tracker discussion: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=185370)

FULL INTERNET ACCESS
- Required to obtain the external IP address. If disabled, no data connection will be established by the widget.
READ PHONE STATUS AND IDENTITY
- Used to detect the type of mobile connection (GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, etc.).
CHANGE WI-FI STATUS
- Enables WiFi toggle functionality.
VIEW WI-FI STATUS
- Used to retrieve the SSID.
VIEW NETWORK STATUS
- Used to retrieve the local IP address.
MODIFY/DELETE USB STORAGE CONTENTS OR MODIFY/DELETE SD CARD CONTENTS
- Required for writing ipwidget.log to the SD Card (if logging is enabled).
CONTROL VIBRATION
- Enables vibration for notifications.
