WHAT LIES BEHIND THE DOOR?
A prison hulk named “Success” carrying hundreds of criminals was en route to the Auriga system. Officially, they were offered a chance at redemption through hard labor, but in reality, they were destined for slave labor, colonizing an uncharted planet. Their knowledge of Auriga Prime came solely from probes: water, temperate zones, plant life, and abundant metals.
Unbeknownst to them, Auriga was once home to a significant Endless settlement. A cloaked, operational defense system still orbited the planet, activating upon the Success's arrival. The ship was swiftly reduced to wreckage.
Fortunately, the holding cells doubled as escape pods. The surviving prisoners crash-landed, bruised but alive, within an Endless facility—a deep, ancient dungeon.
