This magnificent metropolis is governed by a clandestine society of masked Lords, wielding immense political power and engaging in shadowy dealings behind the scenes. In Lords of Waterdeep, you assume the role of one of these masked Lords, tasked with recruiting adventurers to embark on quests in your name. The more quests you successfully complete, the greater your influence and control over the city becomes.

Expand your influence by strategically purchasing buildings within the city, unlocking new opportunities and advantages. Utilize Intrigue cards to further your own agenda, while simultaneously aiding or hindering your fellow Lords in their pursuit of supreme power over Waterdeep!

Lords of Waterdeep is a turn-based strategy game spanning 8 rounds, offering engaging gameplay against AI opponents or with up to 5 human players. Each turn, players strategically assign their agents to various tasks, such as recruiting adventurers at the tavern or acquiring new buildings for the city. Earn points and resources by completing quests, playing Intrigue cards, constructing buildings, and even benefiting from other players utilizing your constructed buildings. At the conclusion of the 8th round, bonus points are awarded, and the player with the highest total score is crowned the victor.
