TWTools, short for "True Wireless Tools," is a utility application designed to help you monitor the battery status of your true wireless earbuds, including i500 TWS clones, original AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and Beats headphones.

Upon connecting your earbuds, TWTools provides real-time battery status updates through a notification or a popup window.

TWTools also offers the ability to rename your earbuds, similar to iOS devices.

✓ Accurately displays battery levels for TWS earbuds and provides battery level updates in 10% increments for original AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and Beats headphones with real-time information.
✓ Offers a persistent battery level notification.
✓ Shows a popup window with battery levels when the earbud case is opened.
✓ Allows local renaming of earbuds (note that on Android, renaming only applies to the local device and is not persistent on the earbuds themselves, unlike iOS devices).
✓ Includes a Dark mode for comfortable viewing in low-light conditions.

☆ Important Notes ☆
To read battery status of earbuds after installing the app: place earbuds inside the case, open TWTools, and then open the earbud case. The battery level will then be displayed on the screen.
For TWTools to function correctly, you may need to disable system battery optimization for the app, allowing it to run in the background.

☆ Samsung Users ☆
If you are using a Samsung device with OneUI, TWTools needs to be added to the whitelist of apps that are not suspended to ensure proper functionality. TWTools does not automate this process.

☆ Android 12 Users ☆
On Android 12, TWTools no longer requires location permission to scan for devices; however, you must grant the new Bluetooth permission.
