***Important Setup Instructions***

To begin using Vector CTRL, you'll need to gather some information from your Vector robot:

1. Place Vector on its dock (powered on and connected via USB).
2. Press Vector's button twice (you'll see the Vector's name).
3. Lift Vector's lift up and down.
4. You will see:
a. Vector serial number on the first line.
b. IP address on the fourth line.

***Application Configuration***

You will need to enter your Anki account username (email) and password, followed by Vector's local IP address. These settings enable the text-to-speech feature. After entering these details, tap the "Set" button to obtain the GUID for access. Then, input the text you want Vector to say and tap "Say".

To control Vector's movement, you'll need to configure additional settings:

- Vector's name
- Vector's serial number

Once all five settings are entered, tap "Set". Then, to initiate movement control, tap "Connect for Move".

Ensure that your Vector is powered on, connected to a network, and that your phone can reach Vector via the specified IP address and port. If all settings are entered correctly, you should see directional arrows to control Vector's movements.

After controlling Vector's movements, remember to release control by tapping the "Disconnect" button.

***Advanced Use Case: Remote Access***

Vector CTRL allows you to control your Vector remotely. To do this, follow these steps:

1. map Vector's TCP port 443 to an available port on your router.
2. Ensure this port is accessible from the external network.
3. Obtain a static IP address or use a dynamic DNS service to access your router from anywhere.

For example, if your Vector has an IP address of 192.168.1.43, map port 444 of your router to Vector's port 443. Then, access your router's external IP or DNS name and change the port in the app to 444.
