It also incorporates detailed airspace information for 62 countries spanning all continents (excluding Antarctica), with coverage including regions such as the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Stay informed with global, high-resolution weather forecasts sourced from the German DWD and the U.S. NOAA. Avia Maps provides accurate map layers detailing cloud cover, ceiling, precipitation, and ground and aloft wind conditions. The downloaded data ensures you can access critical weather updates even in flight, without relying on cell reception. Integration with Avia Weather allows for quick retrieval of the latest METAR and TAF reports at your destination airport.

Navigate with confidence using the integrated digital elevation model, which assists in route planning through mountainous terrain. During flight, the dynamic terrain overlay intelligently colors hills and mountains based on your current altitude, significantly enhancing situational awareness.

Boost flight safety by displaying traffic information directly on the map from your preferred ads-B receiver or the SafeSky app. Avia Maps supports traffic data reception using the GDL90 format, compatible with popular portable ADS-B receivers like SkyEcho or Stratux. For users without a receiver, SafeSky provides traffic data via an internet connection.

Achieve precise performance calculations by creating customized aircraft profiles using handbook values for climb performance, fuel consumption, and more. Route calculations leverage these profiles, considering engine type and fuel burn during climb using standard aerospace engineering formulas.
