"ELM327 Identifier" sends nearly all available AT commands and compares the responses against the official ELM327 datasheet specifications (up to firmware v2.2 and experimental v2.3). This allows you to quickly verify if your adapter's claimed compatibility is accurate or if it's a counterfeit.

note that some AT commands require an active car connection and a specific communication protocol to function correctly. To ensure consistent results, the app does not test these protocol-dependent commands. The app checks a comprehensive set of 114 AT commands.

HOW TO USE THE APP:
1 - Power on your ELM327 adapter using your car's diagnostic port or an external power supply.
2 - If you haven't already, pair your ELM327 adapter via Bluetooth in your Android device's settings, or connect to the ELM327 adapter's Wi-Fi network.
3 - Launch the app and tap the "CONNECT" button. Choose your connection type and select your paired ELM327 adapter.
4 - Once a successful connection is established, the scan will start automatically.
5 - Wait for the scan to complete and review the results displayed on the screen. A white bar indicates which AT commands should be supported by a genuine adapter.
6 - Tap the "RESULTS" button to view detailed scan information and optionally save the results to your device's internal storage (SD card).
7 - If desired, tap the "RESCAN" button to re-verify the adapter's capabilities.

IMPORTANT: Even if your adapter is identified as a clone, it may still function with some applications. This app primarily helps you understand its true capabilities and compatibility.
