Highly popular in India, Pakistan, and other Asian countries, Seep offers a unique and strategic card-playing experience.In the 4-player mode, Seep involves fixed partnerships of two, with partners strategically positioned opposite each other to enhance teamwork and coordination.
The primary objective of the Seep Tash game is to skillfully capture cards from the table layout (referred to as the 'floor') that hold point values. The game culminates when one team achieves a lead of at least 100 points over their opponents, a state known as a 'baazi'. Players can predetermine the number of 'baazis' they wish to play, adding an element of strategic planning to the overall gameplay.
At the conclusion of each Seep round, the point values of the captured cards are meticulously calculated:
- All cards belonging to the Spade suit carry point values that correspond to their capture value, ranging from the King (worth 13 points) down to the Ace (worth 1 point).
- The Aces of the remaining three suits (Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs) are each valued at 1 point.
- The Ten of Diamonds holds a value of 6 points.
Only these specific 17 cards contribute to the scoring value, while all other captured cards are considered worthless. The cumulative scoring value of all cards in the deck amounts to 100 points.
Players can also earn points through a 'seep,' which occurs when a player successfully captures all the cards from the layout, leaving the table entirely empty. A standard 'seep' is worth 50 points; however, a 'seep' achieved on the very first play is worth 25 points, and a 'seep' exeCuted on the last play yields no points.
