RaceJoy is a premier mobile app designed to enhance the experience for participants and spectators at running, cycling, and triathlon events. Tailored for both Athletes and their supporters, RaceJoy offers a range of features that vary depending on the event type, including live phone tracking, real-time progress alerts, instant results, essential race information, photo access, and the interactive Send-a-Cheer function.

RaceJoy provides three distinct modes:
- Timing Integration Events
- PhoneTrak Events
- Training Days

Timing Integration Events:
These events partner with RaceJoy to deliver a top-tier experience for everyone involved. Features are complimentary, sponsored by the event or its partners.

Key features may include:
- Tracking with Progress Alerts: Leave your phone behind! This feature uses the participant's BIB/chip to track progress as they pass timing points along the course.
- Scored Race Results: Get your official race results almost instantly after crossing the finish line.
- Automatic Progress Updates: Share your progress automatically on Twitter (with your permission!).
- Essential Race Information: Access schedules, FAQs, race news, BIB numbers, and more.
- Official Race Photos: View your race photos and RunPix information.
- Optional PhoneTrak: Enable live phone tracking and Send-a-Cheer for added interaction.

PhoneTrak Events:
These events provide:
- Live gps Phone Tracking: Track participants in real-time on the actual course map.
- Send-a-Cheer!: Send fun, motivational audio clips to encourage athletes.
- Proximity Alerts: Spectators and relay teams receive notifications when a participant is nearby.
- MeetUp Tool: See your location relative to a participant on the course.
- Optional Scored Race Results and Photos: Some events offer scored results and photo access within moments of finishing.

For these features, race participants must carry their phones during the event.

Training Days:
This feature allows athletes to share their location and receive motivational cheers from friends and family during training runs or rides. Training Days includes all PhoneTrak features, along with special cheers to help you push through challenging moments.

Battery Usage:
RaceJoy's live phone tracking is activated only during event hours. In Training Days, athletes control tracking. Continued GPS use can significantly reduce battery life. Disable tracking in settings to conserve battery if needed.
