The new Citrix Workspace app, formerly known as Citrix Receiver, delivers an enhanced user experience by providing a secure, contextual, and unified workspace accessible from any device. This all-in-one interface, powered by Citrix Workspace services, grants instant access to all your SaaS and web applications, mobile and virtual applications, files, and desktops.

Accessing your mobile and virtualized applications, files, and desktops is now faster and more streamlined than ever. Consult your IT department to learn how to get started.

Key features include:
• Ability to work on your preferred device from any location
• Seamless access to email and other corporate applications
• Unified view providing access to your files, apps, and desktops from your phone, tablet, or all-in-one device
• Single sign-on (SSO) capabilities through integration with Citrix SecureHub and Citrix Files.

Client Drive mapping Virtual Channel:
Client drive mapping (CDM) enables plug-and-play storage devices within your session, allowing you to use local device storage or mass storage devices (such as pen drives) to copy and paste documents between the session and your user device.

Location and Sensor Virtual Channel:
This virtual channel redirects sensor information to applications running on the server. For example, applications can utilize accelerometer data for 3D modeling, ambient light levels to control screen brightness, and location data to modify application behavior.

vpnService Functionality:
Gain secure access to internal web resources, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, and websites hosted by your company.

Support for Citrix Ready workspace hub:
Built on the Raspberry Pi 3 platform, the Citrix Ready workspace hub offers a secure connection to authorized applications and data. The Citrix Workspace app for Android provides experimental support for user authentication to Citrix Ready workspace hubs, allowing authenticated users to cast their sessions to a hub. This feature is disabled by default.
note: Location permission is required for the Citrix Ready workspace hub experimental feature. You can deny this permission if no workspace hubs are present.

Accessibility Service:
Enable the Citrix accessibility service for a smooth functioning of Citrix Workspace app sessions. We do not collect any user data. This service enables gesture and touch passthrough functionality in virtual sessions.
