BASICS OF BURRACO

Players: 2 or 4

Number of cards: 108 (2 decks with 2 jokers each)

Distribution: 11 cards to each player and two stockpiles with eleven cards each.

Objective: The team with the most points wins.

Creating Melds: A meld consists of three or more cards of the same suit in numerical sequence. The sequence runs from 2 to King (K). The Ace (A) can be placed before the 2 or after the King. You can add more cards to a meld during the game.

Taking the Discard Pile: Simply click on the cards in the discard pile to take it.

Stockpile: A set of 11 cards a player receives when they run out of cards in their hand. In a 4-player game, each stockpile corresponds to a team. Only the first player on the team to empty their hand can pick up the stockpile. A team or player cannot pick up two stockpiles. If the main deck runs out of cards, any stockpile on the table will automatically be used as the new deck.

Going Out: Going out means a player has used all the cards in their hand, provided their team has already picked up a stockpile. If no stockpile has been taken, the only way to go out is when both stockpiles become the deck and the player has used all cards in their hand.

Going Out Directly: This occurs when a player uses all cards in their hand by melding them, without discarding any. If a stockpile is available, the player picks it up and continues playing without drawing a card.

Going Out Indirectly: This happens when a player uses all the cards in their hand, discarding the last one. If a stockpile is available, the player picks it up and plays only in the next round, when it is their turn again.

Canasta: A meld of seven or more cards of the same rank or in sequence, of the same suit. There are four types of Canastas.
