emap HDF is a high-resolution predictive NOAA Doppler storm radar application providing detailed weather maps. Stay informed and prepared with real-time weather updates and comprehensive forecasts.

The weather app utilizes data from the National Weather Service (NWS) & NOAA, offering essential layers such as:

- Sea temperature data based on measurements from buoys and satellites, catering to marine enthusiasts.
- Tide charts for over 10,000 tidal stations in the US, UK, Canada, etc., with forecasts extending several months. The app smartly identifies your current location to display nearby tides.

The storm radar app offers a one-hour prediction of rain and snow, displayed in detailed five-minute increments. The NOAA radar provides a six-hour historical weather radar archive for analyzing past weather patterns.

The earthquake app allows filtering earthquakes by magnitude and depth. Earthquake tracker data is provided by the USGS.

The distance measurement tool allows you to easily calculate distances between two points in both miles and kilometers.

The air quality app integrates data from various sources like AirNow, Copernicus, and ECMWF, displaying concentrations of ozone (O3), fine (PM2.5) and coarse (PM10) particulate matter, dioxide (NO2) and nitrogen oxide (NO), carbon monoxide (CO), etc.

With the Doppler radar app, you can long-press on any map location to view detailed weather information, including an archive spanning several years. This archive includes sea and air temperature, precipitation, and cloud cover data. The travel weather feature allows you to compare current and past weather conditions, aiding in travel planning.

By clicking the "CC" button and toggling to "10" or "24", you can visualize a 10-day or 24-hour forecast directly on the map.

eMap HDF also displays current road traffic conditions. The forecast includes not only temperature and precipitation, but also humidity, wind speed and direction, dew point, visibility on the roads feels like temperature.
