· Photo and video: Powers features such as wallpaper customization, Blur Effect, Bing Chat Visual Search, and the display of recent activities and backups. On Android 13 and higher, these are replaced with ‘All file’ access permissions.

· Notifications: Keeps you informed about updates and app activity.

· Contacts: Improves search within Bing Search.

· Location: Provides accurate weather information in the Weather widget.

· Phone: Allows quick and easy calling to your contacts directly from the Launcher.

· camera: Enables the creation of image notes for Sticky Notes and image searches within Bing Search.

· Calendar: Displays calendar information in the Calendar card within your Launcher feed.

Using Microsoft Launcher without granting these permissions is possible, but some functions may be limited.
