HOW PUSH DOCTOR WORKS
Push Doctor operates as an online consultation service in collaboration with the NHS. To use the service, you must be an NHS patient registered with an NHS GP practice. Access to our online appointment service mirrors the process of booking a traditional GP appointment.
When booking an appointment with your practice (either in person or by phone), the receptionist may offer you an online consultation and send you an SMS invitation to join Push Doctor. Once you receive the invite, you can easily create an account online.
Booking appointments through the app is quick and easy; simply select a time that suits your schedule.
When it's time for your consultation, you'll enter our virtual waiting room. Feel free to use your phone while you wait – you'll receive a notification call as soon as a GP is available to begin your consultation.
During your online video consultation, the GP will inquire about your symptoms and may visually assess any affected areas or listen to specific symptoms, such as a cough.
A chat function is available if you prefer to communicate with the GP via text during your consultation. If medication is required, the GP can issue a prescription instantly, which you can then collect from your designated pharmacy.
