UTS on mobile is the official Indian Railways Android mobile ticketing app, revolutionizing the way you book unreserved train tickets. Say goodbye to long queues and embrace the convenience of booking your tickets directly from your smartphone.

**Who can use the UTS on mobile application?**
This service is available to individuals aged twelve and above who have not been previously suspended or removed from Indian Railway services. By using the app, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements and agree to the terms and conditions.

You warrant that you possess the legal right and capability to enter into this agreement and adhere to its terms. Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity, age, or affiliation is strictly prohibited.

**Pre-requisites to avail the UTS on mobile app service:**
* The UTS on mobile app is currently available on Android.
* A stable GPRS connection is required for seamless operation.
* gps functionality is necessary for paperless ticket booking.

**Registration Process:**
Register for UTS on mobile services via the app or the official website (https://www.utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in).
Provide your mobile number, name, password, gender, and date of birth during the one-time registration process. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number to verify its validity. Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation SMS, and a zero-balance R-Wallet account will be activated.

**Login Process:**
After registration, log in to the UTS on mobile app using your registered credentials.

**Services offered by UTS on mobile app:**
1. **Book Ticket:**
* Normal Booking (Journey and Return tickets)
* Quick Booking (Journey and Return tickets)
* Platform Ticket
* Season Ticket
* QR Booking (Platform Tickets, Journey and Return Tickets)

2. **Cancellation of Ticket:**
Paper tickets with a booking amount exceeding cancellation charges can be canceled via the UTS on mobile app before printing. Cancellation of paperless tickets is not permitted.

3. **Booking History:**
Access your past booking records.

4. **R-Wallet:**
* Check R-Wallet Balance
* Recharge R-Wallet
* View Transaction History
* Surrender R-Wallet

5. **Profile:**
* Change City
* Change Frequent Travel Route
* Change Journey Details
* Change Password
* Change Handset Request
* Change Personal Details
* Sync Ticket

6. **Show Booked Ticket:**
Present your ticket to the Ticket Examiner (TTE) or Ticket Collector (TC) using the 'show ticket' feature. Offline mode is available for displaying paperless tickets when an internet connection is unavailable.

**Important notes:**
* Paperless ticket booking (Book and Travel) is prohibited inside trains or within station premises to prevent booking tickets upon seeing the TTE or TC.
* To book paperless tickets, users must be outside station premises or away from railway tracks.
* For Paper Ticket (Book and Print) mode, printing the ticket from ATVM/CoTVM kiosks or General Booking counters at the station is mandatory before boarding the train.
