Explore our dynamic planet with Earth Viewer, an animated globe providing real-time weather updates, satellite imagery, global forecasts, and historical climate data. This application is designed to visualize critical datasets for global warming monitoring, offering users a comprehensive understanding of our Earth's climate.

**How to Use:** Simply tap the three dots in the upper right corner (settings) to select from various satellite views. Allow a few moments for the data to download (internet access required). Then, tap the play/pause button to observe weather patterns in motion.

* Climate Reanalyzer Weather Forecast:
* World GFS Precipitation and Clouds (+7 days)
* World GFS Air Temperature (+7 days)
* World GFS Air Temperature Anomaly (+7 days)
* World GFS Precipitable Water (+7 days)
* World GFS Surface Wind Speed (+7 days)
* World GFS Jetstream Wind Speed (+7 days)

* METEOSAT 0 Degree Satellite:
* Airmass Realtime Imagery (-24 hours, generated every 1 hour)
* Airmass Realtime Imagery Full Resolution (-6 hours, generated every 1 hour)

* METEOSAT IODC Satellite:
* IR 10.8 (-24 hours, generated every 3 hours)

* SSEC:
* Infrared Low Res Global Composite (-1 week, generated every 3 hours)
* Water Vapor Low Res Global Composite (-1 week, generated every 3 hours)

* Custom Imagery Data:
* Support for other and custom imagery data sources via JSON configuration.

**Application Features:**

* Image Interpolation: Smooth transitions between images for a fluid animation.
* Imagery Selection: Easily choose from a variety of imagery options via the menu.
* Live Sunlight: See the Earth illuminated in real-time by the sun.
* Bump mapping: Enhanced visual detail for a more Realistic Earth representation.
* Data Cache: Offline access to previously downloaded data.
* Animation Control: Double-tap to start/stop animation, and use +/- buttons to adjust animation speed.
* Custom Imagery Data: The "Edit Custom Data" button allows source imagery data configuration in JSON format.

**Limitations:**

* The application may crash on devices with low graphics capabilities or insufficient memory. Earth Viewer utilizes OpenGL ES 2.0 and advanced pixel shaders with multi-texturing.

Earth Viewer functions as a local image viewer, accessing publicly available content from the internet on behalf of the user. Data is cached locally, and only incremental updates are downloaded. Data availability is not guaranteed, and the application can function offline with cached data.
