Receive timely low battery notifications and review a comprehensive 90-day history log for added peace of mind. With a Bluetooth Smart-enabled device, both you and authorized guests can effortlessly unlock and lock your Master Lock Bluetooth Smart-enabled padlock using secure, encrypted digital “keys”. If you're without your phone or need to grant temporary access, the lock can be opened using a unique code entered directly on the lock's keypad.
In the default Wake mode, the lock conveniently unlocks upon pressing any button when your phone is nearby. For enhanced security, the optional Wake + Tap Mode requires you to wake the lock and then press a button on your phone to initiate the unlock process. The lock owner has the flexibility to easily add and remove guests, scheduling access for 24/7 availability or setting time-limited permissions.
Disabled Mode allows the lock to remain securely locked even when your phone is stored inside a locker, preventing unauthorized access. The comprehensive lock history log meticulously captures lock registration details, unlock, open, and relock activity, the unlock method used (Bluetooth Smart-enabled device or directional code), date, time, user identification (if available), guest invitations, acceptances, access revocations, lock keypad tamper alerts, low battery alerts, Primary Code changes, settings modifications (Automatic Relock Time, Unlock Mode, Time Zone), reset keys activity, and firmware updates.
The lock batteries are easily replaceable and, in the event of a dead battery while locked, can be jump-started with an external battery for immediate access.
