The EPP mobile application, developed by Skupina ČEZ and Nadace ČEZ (ČEZ Foundation), empowers you to make a difference through movement. Whether you're running, cycling, or simply walking, every activity you log translates into points for a selected project, which Nadace ČEZ will then financially support.EPP - Pomáhej pohybem (Help with Movement) is a tool that allows users to actively contribute to projects by allocating their movement-generated points to initiatives chosen by them. The amount of financial support provided by Nadace ČEZ is determined by the points allocated.
The app tracks user movement, including activities like walking, running, cycling, skiing, and even indoor activities such as treadmill workouts. It records standard data like speed, time, pace, and distance, and uniquely generates points based on the activity. Users can then donate these points to various projects offered by non-profit organizations, Schools, or municipalities. Once users collectively accumulate a target number of points for a project, Nadace ČEZ provides a pre-determined financial contribution. Beyond its philanthropic function, EPP also functions as a traditional sport tracker. It generates statistics on personal performance, categorized by day and type of movement. Downloading, using the app, and generating points are all free. Data connectivity is only required when the app is launched or when users want to allocate their earned points to a project. The app is optimized for mobile phones with Apple iOS (version 7 and later), Android (version 4.0 and later), and Wear OS 2.0. Users can choose to use the application anonymously or register via email or Facebook.
Important: After launching the app, verify that you have enabled either outdoor movement tracking (points are generated based on gps movement) or indoor movement tracking (points are generated based on the mobile device's motion sensors).
