Originating in 1974 by a Russian developer, Snake quickly became a dominant arcade title on mobile devices for decades. Known by various names across the globe, including "yılan", "ثعبان", "เกมงู", "스네이크", "مار", "スネーク", "贪吃蛇", "Rắn săn mồi", and "Змейка Классическая", its universal appeal is undeniable.For many, the 1110i was their introduction to mobile gaming, and Snake Xenzia was the defining experience. From 1997 to 2006, and for years afterward, a generation was captivated by this simple yet engaging game on the iconic 1110i.
Snake Xenzia Classic sparked a phenomenon, creating a wave of competition and enjoyment within high Schools. Owning a 1110i meant participating in the Snake Xenzia craze, comparing scores, striving for records, and simply having fun. Snake Xenzia represents a cherished memory, a nostalgic trip back to simpler times.
Fueled by reminiscing with friends about classic mobile games, particularly Snake Xenzia on the 1110i, the developer decided to recreate Snake Xenzia Rewind. This project aims to celebrate their youth by recreating that initial mobile gaming experience.
Snake Xenzia Rewind captures the essence of playing on a feature phone, featuring an antique screen with a physical keyboard, LED screen display, and the familiar gameplay using the 2468 buttons. The main difference is that Snake Retro Classic is now playable on a touch screen.
Version 2.0 of Snake 2K Classic introduces enhancements such as 8-bit sound, ranking system, and a setting option to remove ads. It also adds Box mode alongside the Classic mode. Additional modes like Rails, Mills, Apartment, and Tunnel are integrated into the Pro version of Snake 97 Classic retro phone.
