Recognized with multiple international awards, Antura and the Letters is a free mobile game that seamlessly blends cutting-edge entertainment technology with practical educational content, providing an Immersive learning experience for children aged 5-10. Originally created to support children lacking access to formal education, particularly those from Syria, Afghanistan, and Ukraine, Antura is accessible and beneficial to all children.
This innovative Arabic project was initially funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and developed through a collaborative effort by the Cologne Game Lab, Video Games Without Borders, and Wixel Studios. Subsequently, numerous partners joined the initiative, adapting the game to address diverse emergencies and learning requirements in various contexts, with a focus on humanitarian crises in Syria, Afghanistan, and Ukraine.
