This application also uses your phone's gps to pinpoint your location on a map and displays the satellite's direction from your position.

The integrated compass, coupled with audible beeps, assists in orienting your antenna or satellite dish, with the beeping frequency or compass arrow indicating the correct direction. The accelerometer verifies the vertical alignment of your antenna mount.

Here are the steps for adjusting your antenna or satellite dish:
1. Select a satellite and enable geolocation to determine the antenna's orientation direction.
2. Use augmented reality to view the satellite through your camera, ensuring no obstacles are present and validating the antenna's location.
3. Verify that your antenna mount is perfectly vertical.
4. Calculate the polarization and adjust the LNB's rotation (the antenna's head).
5. Set the elevation angle.
6. Use the visual and sound assistant to search for the optimal orientation.
7. Make fine adjustments to optimize the signal.

For optimal app functionality, Dish Install, Pointer & Align requires access to your smartphone's camera, compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, and GPS.

Tips:
- If your smartphone lacks GPS, manually adjust the "marker" on the map to pinpoint your exact location. Use zoom for greater accuracy.
- The compass is crucial for dish alignment. However, if your smartphone doesn't have one, you can still use the app by identifying landmarks on the map from your location. The app will calculate the orientation, and you can use a manual compass for precise alignment.
- Recalibrate the compass frequently and avoid proximity to the antenna arm, as it's sensitive to metal. Position your smartphone where there's minimal magnetic interference.
