包括的な分析
La Biblia de Jerusalén (Biblia Católica) provides a straightforward digital version of the Jerusalem Bible. It allows users to easily browse through the Old and New Testaments. The app focuses on providing the scripture text without unnecessary distractions. While simple to use for basic reading, it lacks some of the advanced features found in more comprehensive Bible study apps. The offline access is a great advantage for users who want to read the Bible without an internet connection. The user interface is functional but could benefit from a redesign to improve user experience.

The Jerusalem Bible (BJ, French: Bible de Jérusalem) is a highly regarded Catholic version of the Bible, originally crafted in French under the guidance of the École Biblique et Archéologique Française de Jérusalem (French Biblical and Archaeological School of Jerusalem). The BJ has been translated into Spanish and other languages, offering both the biblical text and its insightful commentary and introductions. It is particularly valued for its comprehensive introductions, detailed footnotes, and extensive cross-references, making it an excellent resource for biblical exegesis and Lectio Divina.
History
The Bible de Jérusalem was initially published in French in 43 installments between 1948 and 1955. The French version underwent revisions in 1973 and 1998. Spanish editions and revisions of the BJ were released in 1967, 1975, 1998, and 2009. The Spanish version is published by Desclée de Brouwer (Bilbao).
Sources
The École Biblique et Archéologique Française de Jérusalem utilized the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts for its French version, instead of the Latin Vulgate of St. Jerome. For the Spanish version, a team of Spanish translators also employed the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek writings for the biblical text. The presentation, titles, introductions, notes, and appendices were translated from the French version of the BJ. Subsequent Spanish (Catholic) editions of the BJ have incorporated updates in the introductions and notes, reflecting the latest advancements in biblical research.
