The objective in Hearts is to minimize your score. Follow suit when possible (Clubs). If you can't, you can discard any card, but avoid playing a Heart or the Queen of Spades on the first trick. The player with the highest card of the lead suit wins the trick and leads the next one. Each Heart taken scores 1 point, and the Queen of Spades is worth a hefty 13 points. However, if you manage to capture all Hearts and the Queen of Spades – a feat known as 'shooting the Moon' – you score 0, and everyone else gets 26 points!
