The medical laboratories of that era lacked the equipment necessary to perform such tests, often leading doctors to forgo the tests altogether. Alternatively, patients had to bear the considerable expense of traveling to Jordan or sending samples to advanced laboratories within the Green Line. This separation disrupted the vital connection between the treating physician and the laboratory.

This disconnect not only hindered communication but also deprived the medical community of a valuable tool for development and advancement. Furthermore, it negatively impacted patient health and the physician's ability to provide optimal treatment.
