Codeword Unlimited is an engaging application designed for playing the popular word game known as Codeword, also referred to as Cipher Crosswords or Cryptograms. Sharpen your mind with this stimulating word puzzle game!

The words to find are available in English, and you can also enjoy the game in 35 other languages, making it a fantastic tool for language learning.

For those new to Codeword puzzles, the game presents a grid of words, similar to a standard crossword, but without traditional clues. Instead, you are given a few initial letters and a number in each square of the grid, indicating its corresponding (yet unknown) letter. The core rule is that all boxes with the same number must be assigned the same letter. Using this information, along with the initial letters, your task is to deduce which words fit into the boxes. Essentially, you are decoding (or deciphering) the numbers into letters to reveal the hidden words. Typically, all 26 letters of the alphabet are used in the codeword, although this is not always the case (unused letters are crossed out on the keyboard). It's a fun, challenging, and genuinely stimulating brain teaser.

8) View the definition of a completed word. This is especially useful if you're unfamiliar with the word or learning a foreign language (internet connection required).

9) Select the language of the word list from a wide selection of downloadable dictionaries. Currently, 36 languages are available (see below).

10) Play in either portrait or landscape mode. Simply rotate your device, and the display will adjust automatically.

Each game is assigned a difficulty level ranging from 0 (easy) to 9 (very hard). The difficulty level is determined by the settings or the difficulty selector. High scores (measured by the fastest completion time) are maintained for each difficulty level. The game displays the top 20 scores for each level.
