* **Information:** Register your dashcam unit and check its version information.

Supported FINEVu Dashcam models: FINEVu X1000 / X1000α / GXR1000 α W-Fi enabled models.

Important notes:

* Compatibility: Some smartphones may not be fully compatible due to OS version or supported resolution limitations.
* Safety: To prevent accidents caused by operating the app while driving, the connection will automatically terminate if the vehicle exceeds 10 km/h or upon impact detection.

Minimum Requirements:

* Android KitKat (4.4) or higher.
* Some foreign smartphones such as Nexus and Xiaomi may not be supported.
* The app may not function correctly on beta OS versions provided by some smartphone manufacturers.

Additional Information:

* SmartFINEVu operates based on the default player of the installed smartphone.
* If you experience issues with video or audio playback, search for and install "MX Player" from the app store.

Android 9 Connection Guide:

When connecting via Wi-Fi, your smartphone may recognize the dashcam as a poor-quality Wi-Fi network (since the dashcam does not provide internet access) and automatically disconnect. In this case, a one-time manual registration may be required:

1. Disable mobile data on your smartphone.
2. In your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings, disable the "Switch to mobile data" feature (if available).
3. In your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings, under "Network management" or "Saved networks", delete the registered dashcam network.
4. Turn on the car ignition and press the Smart Connect button on the dashcam.
* Ensure you are on the recording screen of the dashcam menu.
* The Wi-Fi connection will not work while driving or with the ignition off. Connect while stationary.
5. Launch the SmartFINEVu app.
6. While the "Connecting to dashcam" popup is displayed, press the home button and go to your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings.
7. In the Wi-Fi list, select your dashcam's name to manually connect.
* Ignore any "Internet connection may not be stable" popups.
* Retry 2-3 times if the smartphone attempts to block the connection.
8. The dashcam screen should change to "Smart FINEVu is running" to indicate successful connection.
9. Re-enable mobile data on your smartphone.

After this initial registration, connections should be seamless without needing to disable mobile data.
(Disconnection while driving or with the ignition off is normal behavior for stable recording.)

* READ_PHONE_STATE: Obtain device unique ID.
* CHANGE_WIFI_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE, WRITE_SETTINGS, CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE: Wi-Fi connection/tethering.
* ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Wi-Fi scanning.
* READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Save firmware/safety driving information/parking enforcement camera information.
* WAKE_LOCK: Prevent screen from turning off.
