Founded in January 2016 by four friends concerned about the unconTrolled increase of violence in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, OTT-Brasil's main mission is to keep citizens away from dangers such as robberies, fake Police checkpoints, and stray bullets. It achieves this by gathering, analyzing, and disseminating information in a very short amount of time.The SP 4.0 concept, or Public Safety 4.0, guides our work and is based on citizen-to-citizen (C2C) security. This "Smart" security approach allows each citizen to update the security status of their surroundings in real-time, helping themselves and all other participants in our dynamic information network.
Currently active on all major social networks, we reach over 4.7 million people with our real-time reports. More than half of our users access our network through smartphones and tablets. Every day, we strive to expand our network to cover the entire world, helping even more people stay safe and informed.
