Tips for Optimal Use:
- To stop an alarm, simply click the icon in the notification bar. Ensure notifications are enabled for the Hijrical app in Android application manager.
- Passive (coarse) location tracking is generally sufficient for calculating Namaz times and Qibla direction in normal use.
- For enhanced Qibla direction accuracy, keep the device horizontal using the pitch and roll angle indicators.
- Utilize cloud storage services like DropBox to synchronize calendar data files between your phone and PC.
- If events from other calendars are not displaying, verify that sync settings are enabled in your device settings or the native Google Calendar application.
- To display events from other Google calendars, ensure that the calendars are subscribed to and set to sync in Android settings. note that events from other calendars cannot be edited within the Hijrical app.
- Explore holiday calendars for various countries by logging into your Google account, navigating to Calendar, and selecting "Browse Interesting Calendars" under the "Other Calendars" drop-down arrow.
- Pre-configured events corresponding to Gregorian dates are for illustrative purposes only and are not intended as a complete event list. Users are encouraged to add or delete their own preferred events. To delete all Gregorian events, go to "Settings" and click the "Delete All Gregorian Events" button.
- The event data file is preserved during new version updates to retain any personal events you have entered.
- The default event file can be restored by going to "Settings" and clicking the "Restore Default Data File" button.
- If you have entered personal events, it is recommended to save the data file under a different name to prevent overwriting when restoring from default.

Note about Namaz Times:
Sihori time is calculated as Nautical Twilight and 75 minutes prior to Sunrise. Use the earliest time as a safe measure. Fajr is calculated as the time when the sun's center is 10 degrees below the Horizon, which is a safe measure, and the actual Fajr is earlier (same as nautical twilight time). For high latitudes, Sihori and Fajr times may not be valid and will be displayed as --:--.
