The evil Snow Queen has frozen the magical letters of the alphabet, trapping animals in icy prisons. Only your clever child can save them by learning the alphabet and forming words that name the animals.

As children build words from alphabet letters, they hear the sound of each letter, helping them unconsciously memorize the letters and their sounds. After rescuing all the animals, a quiz game awaits, allowing preschoolers to reinforce their knowledge of letters and reading skills.

Upon completing the quiz, a joyful rabbit performs an energetic dance, motivating the child to continue their fun preschool reading education!

METHODOLOGY

The application uses an effective phonetic method of teaching reading, similar to the "Zaitsev cubes" method and the principles of the Montessori method, namely:

WE DON'T NEED AN ABC BOOK OR A PRIMER. AND WE DON'T NEED TO KNOW THE ALPHABET!

To learn to read, a child does not necessarily need to know the names of the letters. A common phenomenon: a mother buys an alphabet book for children or a primer, the child learns the letters, even learns the alphabet, but cannot read. Words do not stick together.

The famous teacher Nikolai Zaitsev claims that the alphabet is harmful for kids! In the alphabet and primer, each letter of the alphabet is given a picture: A - stork, B - hippopotamus, etc. When we learn to read from the alphabet, the child will remember both the letter and the picture, but how then to explain to him that a zebra - a stork - a lizard - a heron, flashing in his mind, should form the word "hare"? How to teach a child to read?

Instead, in the application "Учимся читать - Спасаем зверей", the child learns not the alphabetical names of letters, but their "sound" or sounds, from which the child can easily assemble a word.

The game provides 2 reading learning modes:
1. Learn to read letter by letter - great for children to learn letters and understand the basics of reading. It is recommended to start with this learning mode - it is very effective for memorizing letters and learning to read short words.
2. Learn to read by syllables ( складам ) - for children who already know letters. By "syllables", the "Zaitsev cubes" method understands " складs " - i.e. a combination of a consonant and a vowel letter: for example, ko-ro-va, ko-sh-ka. Learning to read in such short syllables is much easier for a child than in complex "school" syllables. And the easier it is to learn to read, the more effective it is!

This free version of the educational game contains 4 training levels. The full version contains all 16 training levels, arranged in ascending order of word difficulty. If at the first level the words consist of 2-3 letters, then at the last level of 7-8 letters.
