Explore the Holy bible with 'ALKITAB & kidUNG,' a comprehensive Android application featuring the complete Alkitab (Bible) along with a rich collection of Indonesian Christian hymns. This app includes Kidung Jemaat, Nyanyikanlah Kidung Baru (NKB), and Pelengkap Kidung Jemaat (PKJ), all available Offline.The Alkitab consists of the Old Testament (39 books) and the New Testament (27 books), totaling 66 books. It also offers various translations in languages such as Toba, Javanese, Toraja, and English.
The Kidung Jemaat (KJ) hymns within this application are compiled by the Yayasan Musik Gereja di Indonesia and comprise 478 song lyrics.
The NKB hymns and songs are published by the Badan Pengerja Majelis Sinode (BPMS) of the Gereja Kristen Indonesia in 1991 to supplement the existing praise songs in Kidung Jemaat. This collection features 230 hymns, starting with 'Hai Kristen Nyanyilah' and concluding with the GKI hymn 'Berderaplah Satu.'
Pelengkap Kidung Jemaat (PKJ) serves as a supplementary hymn book to Kidung Jemaat, containing 308 songs, including 12 Taize songs.
Currently, the application has been enhanced with various hymn collections, including Buku Ende, Gita Bakti, Nyanyian Pujian, Puji-pujian Pemuda/Remaja, and more.
Audio features are also available for Kidung Jemaat and NKB hymns.
