Torque Lite (OBD2 & car) is your pocket-sized vehicle diagnostics tool! See real-time data from your car, retrieve fault codes, access sensor information, and more.

This application uses a low-cost Bluetooth ELM327 / OBD2 adapter to connect to your car's OBD II engine management system, turning your Android device into a powerful diagnostic scanner.

Key features include:

* Read and reset engine fault codes / DTC trouble codes stored in your vehicle's ECU.

* Export map/track log files to Google Earth KML or CSV formats for detailed analysis.

* Monitor engine performance data (0-60 mph, 0-100 km/h, quarter mile, etc.) - available in the full version.

This is the free, basic version of Torque. It allows you to test compatibility with your vehicle and OBD2 adapter. note that it may contain minor bugs and may not function correctly with some Nissan, Chrysler, or Subaru ECUs. The paid version offers broader vehicle and ECU support, a more refined user interface, and improved compatibility with a wider range of cars and trucks.

The paid version includes enhanced features such as Horsepower and Torque readings, 0-60 mph and quarter mile tests, data graphing, map/track views, no advertisements, additional dial/display types, improved ABS/Knock sensor support, transmission temperature support for certain car/truck makes (GM/Ford, etc.), and Turbo Boost support for more vehicles (including VW).

Torque Lite is compatible with vehicles from manufacturers like Ford, GM/Vauxhall/Opel, Chrysler, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi, Jaguar, Citroen, Peugeot, Skoda, Kia, Mazda, Lexus, Daewoo, Renault, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, BMW, Toyota, Seat, Dodge, Jeep, Pontiac, Subaru, and many more from European, US, and Far East markets. Feature availability may vary depending on the vehicle's ECU.

**PLEASE NOTE:** Reports of hanging or freezing after exiting the app on HTC Evo 4G and Galaxy Tab devices are due to a bug triggered by Pandora, Vlingo, or Aldiko when Bluetooth is enabled. Disabling Pandora's Bluetooth settings may resolve the issue. HTC/Samsung need to release a fix for this. Please contact their support to request a solution.

The Pro version supports USB ELM adapters that use 'Prolific' or 'FTDI' chips.
