This approach provides administrators with greater control over clients deployed on endpoints. Administrators can also rigorously test the latest Ivanti Secure Access Client releases across all relevant use cases before upgrading endpoints, proactively preventing environment-specific issues.

With Ivanti Secure Access Client for Android, connecting to your corporate vpn is as simple as tapping a button, granting you easy and secure mobile access to information residing on corporate servers or in the cloud.

Ivanti Secure Access for Android delivers an integrated Workspace, allowing you to utilize the latest business applications for email, collaboration, and productivity. This Workspace maintains a clear separation between corporate apps and data on your mobile device and your personal apps and information. This ensures your privacy, as your employer's control is limited to wiping the Workspace only.

Special Consideration for Workspace Customers:
The Ivanti Secure Access Android application utilizes the Android BIND-DEVICE-ADMIN, QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission. This enables your company's administrator to establish a Managed Work Profile, which is separate and independent from your Personal Profile on your device or smartphone. Within the Managed Work Profile, the BIND-DEVICE-ADMIN and QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission are used by your company's administrator to provision and manage enterprise applications on your Android device and to enforce various application policies defined by your company. These policies might include configuring passcodes, erasing data, or configuring WiFi and other profile-specific settings. Typically, no personally identifiable data is collected within the Managed Work Profile. The Ivanti Secure Access Android application does not access information located in your Personal Profile.
The application uses the permission USE_EXACT_ALARM in onDemand VPN usecase only. We plan to replace with SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM in future release, which requires user acceptance.
