Die Beschreibung von LAN plugin for Total Commander

Site Editorial Commentary:This is a Plugin for Total Commander for Android! It does not work standalone!

This is a plugin specifically designed for Total Commander for Android. It will NOT function as a standalone application.

Do NOT install this plugin if you do not have Total Commander installed on your Android device, as it requires Total Commander to operate.

This plugin enables Total Commander to access shared folders on your local network (LAN) via SMB protocol. It allows you to browse, copy, and manage files on network shares directly from Total Commander.

IMPORTANT: If you encounter connection issues with version 3 and cannot connect to your server, it is likely that your server does not support the SMB2 protocol.

Solution: To resolve this, long-press on the connection name within Total Commander to access the connection settings. Then, disable the SMB2 protocol. This will force the plugin to use the older SMB1 protocol for communication. While the plugin is designed to automatically detect servers that do not support SMB2, certain nas devices may exhibit different behavior, requiring manual configuration.
