MyWorldweather is the Android mobile adaptation of the World Weather Information Service (WWIS), offering users official City weather forecasts with location-based technology. It automatically detects your location to provide relevant and reliable weather updates.The World Weather Information Service (WWIS) is the premier global website delivering OFFICIAL weather observations, forecasts, and climatological data for select cities worldwide. This information is sourced directly from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs).
WWIS is dedicated to providing authoritative and trustworthy weather information from NMHSs around the globe to internet users and media outlets. Developed and maintained by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) on behalf of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), WWIS, as of March 2017, provided official weather information for 2123 cities, including forecasts for 1997 cities from 135 members and climatological information for 1961 cities from 169 members.
