*A common wire (c-wire) is not required for most installations. However, it is necessary for heat-only systems, cool-only systems, and heat pump systems. The Sensi Smart Thermostat is not compatible with baseboard heating and some other specialized systems.

**Humidification requires additional equipment, and professional installation is recommended. Dehumidification is supported with AC and heat pump systems.
