Site Editorial Commentary：Amemiru is, the real-time rainfall information, is an application that represents a new way of AR (augmented reality).

In recent years, there has been an increase in Intense, localized heavy rainfall events, often referred to as "guerrilla rainstorms."

Amemil is an application that visualizes real-time rainfall information using Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

AI alerts you to the approach of strong rain or snow clouds, which you can then confirm with a Realistic view through your camera.

Use Amemil to help with disaster preparedness.


■ Main Features:

・Amemil offers two modes: "Rain map," which displays rainfall information on a map, and "AR Mode," which displays rainfall information in 3D using AR.

・In Rain Map, you can switch between displaying "Rainfall Information" and "Kikikuru (Sediment Disaster Risk, Inundation/Flood Disaster Risk)."

・Rainfall information is synthesized from Japan Meteorological Agency radar data, with a resolution of 250m mesh and updated every 5 minutes.

・The rainfall information display overlays a current location marker and map, showing rainfall information in 10 levels and lightning strike information. You can smoothly zoom in and out from a national level to a street level.

・Based on the temperature, rainfall conditions, and future forecasts around the user's location, AI (Artificial Intelligence) provides commentary on future rain (1 hour ahead, 15 hours ahead). Along with AI commentary, rainfall predictions for 1 hour and 15 hours ahead can be viewed in a graph. (※15-hour forecast commentary and rainfall prediction graph are features for paid members).

・Rain notifications send push notifications with voice alerts (Saori Onishi, Ari Ozawa) when rain or snow is expected within 1 hour at registered locations. Rain notifications for registered locations are free.

・Kikikuru notifications send push notifications when the risk of disaster due to heavy rain increases at registered locations or the current location.

(※We are one of the 5 notification service providers cooperating with the Japan Meteorological Agency's "Kikikuru (Risk Distribution)".)

・In AR mode, rainfall information within a 10km radius is synthesized with the camera image as rain clouds and rain animations. You can read the amount of rainfall by indicating the target direction.

・In areas where it is snowing, the AI will provide commentary on the snow, and snow animations will be displayed in AR, thanks to the rain/snow discrimination function.

・There is a demo mode that recreates heavy rain events that have led to disasters in the past.

・By registering as a monthly member for 250 yen, you can use the 36-hour rainfall forecast (map display), the 15-hour rainfall forecast (AI commentary, graph display), and the gps tracking mode.

・You can post the screen you are viewing in AR as a video or image to social media, and if you post, you can use the paid rainfall forecast and GPS tracking mode for free for 2 hours.

・Details of automatic renewal

The monthly membership period will be automatically renewed unless automatic renewal is canceled at least 24 hours before the end date of the monthly membership period.

Billing for automatic renewal will be done within 24 hours before the end of the monthly membership period.


・About cancellation for the current month

We do not accept cancellations for the current month of monthly membership.
