MyCellstar+Sync for Android is a free application designed to enhance the functionality and enjoyment of your Cellstar ASSURA safety radar detectors and drive recorders.

**Important Notices:**

1) This app is not compatible with Android 13 and later. Please use the updated version available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.cellstar.mycellstarsync4&pli=1

2) An issue has been identified where an error occurs when setting SD card write permissions on smartphones with Android 12, preventing SD card data transfer.

Cause: This is due to OS specification changes resulting from improved security in Android 12.

Solution: Use a commercially available SD card reader that is compatible with your smartphone.

① Connect the SD card reader to your smartphone.

② Set SD card write permissions to the external storage within the SD card reader.

③ Transfer the data.

Regarding Smartphones with Android 4.4:

Due to OS specifications, Android 4.4 cannot directly transfer data to a microSD card. If you are using an Android 4.4 smartphone, we recommend using a model with wireless LAN. For microSD card transfer, please use Android 5.0 or later. A commercially available SD card reader compatible with your smartphone is also recommended.

*SD card write permission settings are required.

*This application is not guaranteed to work on all devices.

**Please note:**

○ When transferring data via wireless LAN communication on models equipped with wireless LAN, network connection settings are required in advance. Please read the included instruction manual carefully and configure the settings.

○ Packet communication charges for downloading update data for this application are the responsibility of the customer. Downloading involves a large amount of packet communication, so we recommend downloading in a Wi-Fi environment.

○ After transferring update data to ASSURA, power cycle the ASSURA unit if necessary.

■ Update Data Download Function:

Download the latest gps data, real CG warning image data, public traffic enforcement information data, and highway gas station price information for free. You can download from anywhere without needing a computer.

■ Content Download Function:

Add standby screen content data to compatible ASSURA devices.

■ Digital photo Frame Function:

Use your smartphone's camera to take photos or convert images from your photo gallery into digital photo frame data that can be used with ASSURA.

■ Fun Customization Function:

Easily customize ASSURA's opening, warnings, and guidance images and sounds using your smartphone. Use your smartphone's camera to take photos or register images from your photo gallery. Record and register sounds using your smartphone's microphone.

■ GPS Spot Function:

Register GPS spots from your smartphone's internet map. You can register images and sounds (on some ASSURA models).

■ Driving Log Display Function:

Read log data created by ASSURA's driving log function (some models) from a microSD card, convert it from NMEA format to KML format, and display the driving route on an internet map. You can also attach the converted KML file to an email and send it.

■ Speed Camera and Information Reporting:

Report valuable information such as speed cameras and enforcement points that you have discovered to our company. This makes information sharing easier and improves the accuracy of the information.
