You must strategically manage your finances by becoming a plantation owner, engaging in stock market speculation, or even resorting to robbing your opponents. Those with the greatest wealth will have the best chances to win auctions and acquire paintings by renowned artists like Vermeer and Van Gogh.
The core gameplay revolves around collecting complete sets of paintings by a single artist. The first player or gallery to complete a collection wins the round, with rounds starting on January 1, 1916, and ending when a collection is complete. A leaderboard tracks player achievements across rounds.
