After entering your vehicle information, activate ‘Waiting for Calls’ to receive ride requests from Kakao T Taxi passengers. Kakao T Taxi provides passenger location and destination details upon receiving a call.

◈ Check Driving History
You can check the number of completed trips and detailed records for the past year on a daily, monthly, or annual basis. You can also download image files for record-keeping purposes.

◈ Rate Passengers
After completing a trip, you can rate the passenger. These ratings are not shared with the passengers.

◈ Sign Up as a Kakao T Taxi Driver
You can apply for registration through the Kakao T Taxi Driver app, and your application will be approved after verification. (Required: photo ID, Taxi license photo)

※ Users can allow the following permissions for the smooth operation of Kakao T Taxi. These permissions are divided into mandatory permissions that must be allowed and optional permissions that can be selectively allowed, depending on their attributes.

1. Mandatory Permissions
1) Location: Permission required to identify your current location and prioritize receiving calls from nearby passengers.
2) Background Location Access: Permission required to continuously provide services within the Kakao T Taxi app (dispatching nearby passenger calls, calculating distances, providing driving route guidance, etc.) even when the driver is using other apps.
3) Phone: Permission required to retrieve phone number information for authentication in Kakao T Taxi.

2. Optional Permissions
1) Ignore Battery Usage Optimization: Permission required for smooth call reception in Kakao T Taxi.
2) Display Over Other Apps: Permission required for smooth call reception and execution while using other apps in Kakao T Taxi.
3) Microphone: Permission required to enter fares via voice when operating an automatic payment call.
4) Bluetooth: Permission required to receive meter data through a Bluetooth device connected to the meter.
5) Storage: Permission required to read storage when registering licenses and profiles.

※ The access permissions of the Kakao T Taxi Driver app are implemented by dividing them into mandatory and optional permissions in response to Android OS 6.0 or higher versions. If you are using an OS version lower than 6.0, you cannot selectively allow permissions as needed. Therefore, it is recommended that you check whether the manufacturer of your device provides an operating system upgrade function and update the OS to 6.0 or higher if possible. Also, even if the operating system is updated, the access permissions agreed to in the existing app will not change, so you must delete and reinstall the already installed app to reset the access permissions.
