chessplode: The Explosive Chess Revolution!

Chessplode reimagines the classic game of chess, injecting a thrilling twist that makes it fun for everyone, regardless of skill level. One strategic move can trigger a chain reaction of explosions, altering the entire game!

-- THE modERN RULE --
Chessplode takes chess and adds a BIG twist. Capturing a piece causes everything in its line and column to EXPLODE! However, if a KING is in the line or column, it's a standard capture, no explosions.

-- THINK DIFFErent... *DISTINCT* --
This unique rule forces a new way of thinking. In traditional chess, protecting your KING is paramount, but in Chessplode, your KING can protect your pieces. Be mindful, as capturing certain pieces can lead to check. Sometimes, you'll achieve checkmate through explosive captures, while other times, you'll fear having multiple pieces in the same line or column (POP!)
